That firm is responsible for holding the permits, registrations and insurance that its work requires, and for answering to the offices that issue them. The owner may ask for the firm's licence or registration details on the phone at any time, and the owner may check a mold licence with the New York State Department of Labor.
The firm's licence numbers are not printed on this site, to protect the firm's privacy. Nothing on this site states that the service itself has been audited or certified for any licence.

Safety around water damage
Standing water can hide live electrical circuits: do not walk into a flooded room until power to that area is off. Sewage and floodwater (IICRC Category 3) can carry bacteria and viruses; keep children, pets and anyone with a weak immune system away, and do not handle contaminated materials without protection. Visible mold larger than a small patch should be assessed before anyone disturbs it. When in doubt, leave the area and call a professional.
Licensing, standards and insurance
Repair and reconstruction work in New York is regulated by that state's contractor licensing board. The IICRC S500 (water damage) and S520 (mold remediation) standards are industry guidance, not government licenses.
